classes has its own benefits as outlined below:
A. Ordinary Membership
Open to investment groups comprising of working or retired
individuals, whose group is registered as a limited company,
partnership or business name.
Benefits
a) Chance to network and work with other investment
groups, to share experiences; create exchanges leading to
mutual benefit.
b) Access to objective, diverse information on avenues of
investment available to investment groups, through activities
such as investor briefings, investment opportunity sessions,
and investment tours organized by the association.
c) Linkages with relevant Organizations that are of interest
to your investment groups, such as the Government, banks,
and brokers, to ensure preferential pricing from service providers,
for waiver of costs such as interest and brokerage fees.
d) Investor education for your members, on how best to invest
your group’s resources, to ensure maximum returns. You
will have access to our large network of experts in various
fields of investment.
e) Representation before policy makers, to lobby for the
interest of your group, such as a separate category for investment
groups during Initial Public Offers.
B. Corporate Membership
Membership is open to large organizations, wishing to partner
with The Kenya Association of Investment Groups, and explore
possible areas of linkages and formation of exchanges leading
to mutual benefit of both parties.

students, working and retired individuals who have formed
investment groups all over Kenya, a good target market to
offer your products.
b) Opportunity to sponsor and brand some of the KAIG events,
an effective and innovative way to market your organization
and a unique opportunity to showcase your products.
c) Access to our exchange desk, where you can disseminate
or retrieve vital information on various areas of interests
such business proposals, research and new investment opportunities.
C. Student Membership
Type of membership open to Investment groups comprising of
students in institutions of higher learning such as Universities,
Colleges, Polytechniques, etc
Benefits
a) Access to Mentorship programs, where established investment
groups provide guidance and advice to your group on how to
achieve investment success.
b) Access to an exchange desk, where one may drop or pick
information on areas concerning your investment group, eg
Cvs, business proposals, etc.
c) A chance to participate in business competitions, where
your group can prepare a business proposal before venture
capitalists, and if they win, obtain funding for their idea.
d) Linkages with relevant Organizations that are of interest
to your investment groups, such as the Ministry of Youth Affairs,
banks, and brokers, to ensure preferential pricing from service
providers, for waiver of costs such as interest and brokerage
fees.
e) A chance to network, work and form synergy with other
student investment groups.
